什么是国际文凭大学预科课程?
国际文凭大学预科课程(或者 IBDP)是专为16-19岁学生设置的。它基于所有学生都应体验全球认同的具有学术挑战且和谐均衡的课程理念,注重培养学生在智力、社交、情感和体育方面的全面发展。国际文凭大学预科课程为学生提供广泛的学习科目,便于学生制定个性化的个人学习计划。
IBDP 课程由六个学科组别构成:
• 语言和文学学习——通常是母语
• 语言习得——通常是一门外语
• 个人与社会(主题包括商业管理、经济学、地理、全球政治、历史、信息技术、哲学、心理学、社会和文化人类学、世界宗教、环境与社会)
• 科学(学科包括生物学、计算机科学、化学、设计科技、物理和体育、运动和健康科学、环境与社会)
• 数学(从2019学年,学科包括数学分析与方法、数学应用与解析)
• 艺术(学科包括舞蹈、音乐、电影、剧场艺术和视觉艺术)

除了这六个学科组,国际文凭大学预科课程的学生还会学习 DP核心课程 - 三个必选的组成部分,以拓宽他们的学习经验。
这三个核心组成部分是:
• 知识理论——学生对知识进行反思,并提出质疑和挑战
• 拓展性论文——在自己选择的领域中,撰写一篇深入的、自我指导的 4000 字研究论文,并激发学习热情,为进入大学做好准备
• 创造·活动·服务——围绕这三个主题创建各种目的明确的具有个人挑战性的活动,锻炼自主能力、坚强的毅力和独特的优点。

在上海闵行区诺德安达双语学校,我们IBDP课程对所有学生开放。学生可以选择不同的学习途径,创造最合适个人需求的个性化学习方案。
选择全文凭项目的学生需要学习6门专业课程,并完成所有DP核心课程(知识理论, 拓展性论文, 创造·活动·服务)。要求学生在两年的学习期间,选择3门高难度课程和3门标准难度课程。

大学申请认可度
IBDP是全世界范围内承认度最高的高中文凭课程体系。IB课程最大吸引力在于它是国际认证,也就是说学生高中毕业后可以凭借优异的IB成绩申请世界任何地方的大学进行深造。
真正的IB世界学校
要成为IB世界学校,必须经过IB全球总部非常严格的审核,在硬件条件、师资质量、教学理念上完全符合IBO的标准才可以挂名。IB学校必须在正式认证后才挂名为IB世界学校(IB World School),在此之前只能以“IB候选学校”(IB Candidate School)自称。在成为“IB世界学校”之后,学校还要继续接受IBO的监管,通过每五年一次的审核才能继续维持此头衔。也正因这样严格的实施标准,全世界的IB学校才可以保持一致的高水准。

在上海闵行区诺德安达双语学校,我们专为10年级学生开设了IB预备阶段课程,为学生能够完全投入IBDP的学习做好准备。我们摒弃应试化死记硬背的教育模式,注重拓展学生的知识和技能,并培养良好的学习态度,从面使学生在取得IBDP的成功方面占据极大的优势。

除了当地社区提供的各种机会,我们的在线学习平台,全球校园,连接了分布于世界各地的所有诺德安达大家庭的学校,为学生提供专属的国际体验,并帮助他们完成CAS课程目标。截止到目前,我校学生已经参加了多种多样的活动,帮助他们在IBDP预备阶段的学习之旅中上不断进步与成长。

我校CAS课程的实施
· 创造
目前,在CAS课程中,学生正在参加丰富多彩的创新活动,包括衍纸、芭蕾舞表演、戏剧、音乐比赛和编程等。
我校为中小学生开设的课外活动有助于他们为CAS课程做好准备,并为他们提供各种体验机会来拓展个人才能,同时鼓励他们勇于学习新技能,并积极参与各种有益的活动。

· 活动
对于“活动”部分:在校外,学生可以参加多种不同的活动,比如游泳、拳击、网球和羽毛球。在校内,学生可以组建并报名参加各种校队。高年级男生参加了学校篮球队,七年级女生通过组建学校手球队,为未来的CAS课程做着准备。
这些活动不仅为学生提供了参加体育锻炼的机会,还提高了他们的领导能力和团队精神。而且,在学习学术课程之外,参与各种活动有助于学生养成健康平衡的生活方式。

• 服务
IBDP要求孩子在2年的学习中进行一定量的社会服务工作,从而增加社会责任感的培养,孩子们经过选拔后还有机会前往我们位于坦桑尼亚和瑞士的海外活动中心,参加全球体验活动。
孩子们可以在坦桑尼亚进行社工服务工作的体验,同时探索和发现坦桑尼亚的文化。这些活动都将汇集来自全球不同地区、不同学校的学生。

The high school entrance examination finally ended in the hot summer this year. With a dream of high school entrance examinations, students have experienced the first big examination in life. For families planning to go abroad in the future, it is imperative to choose an ideal international high school.
At NACIS, we adopt the internationally recognized IB international baccalaureate diploma programme. What makes it so popular among elite schools?
What is the IB Diploma Programme (DP)?
The IB Diploma Programme, or IBDP, is open to all students aged 16-19 and is based on the philosophy that all students should experience a globally-recognised, academically challenging yet balanced programme of education, that addresses their intellectual, social, emotional and physical well-being. The IB Diploma offers a broad range of pathways and subjects for students to study so that students can personalise their own learning.
The IBDP Curriculum is composed of six subject groups:
• Studies in Language and Literature — often mother tongue language
• Language Acquisition — often a foreign language
• Individuals & Societies (subjects include business and management, economics, geography, global politics, history, information technology in a global society, philosophy, psychology, social and cultural anthropology, world religions, and environmental systems and societies)
• Sciences (subjects include biology, computer science, chemistry, design technology, physics and sports, exercise and health science, and environmental systems and societies)
• Mathematics (from 2019, subjects include mathematics Analysis and approaches, mathematics Applications and interpretations)
• The Arts (subjects include dance, music, film, theatre and visual art)

In addition to the six subject groups, IBDP students participate in the DP core - three components which broaden their experience beyond academic studies.
The three core components are:
• Theory of knowledge (TOK) – a unique and valuable course for students to reflect on knowledge and question/challenge what we know
• The Extended Essay (EE) – an in-depth self-directed 4000-word research paper in an area of their choice, which promotes their passions and prepares them for university
• Creativity, activity, service (CAS) – students participate in a personalized plan of purposeful and personally challenging extended learning activities related to these strands as a means of developing self-determination, perseverance and unique advantages.

At NACIS Shanghai, we celebrate the IB philosophy that IBDP is open to all students. There are different pathways available to students, so that they can create a study programme that best suits their personal needs.
Students who enrol in the Full Diploma programme will be required to study 6 academic subjects and complete all components of the DP Core (TOK, EE, CAS). The general requirement is to study three courses at higher level and three at standard level over a two-year period.

College Application Recognition
The IBDP is the most recognized high school diploma system in the world. The main attraction of the IB programme is its international accreditation, which means that students can apply for universities anywhere in the world with excellent IB results after high school.
Accredited IB World School
To become an IB world school, it must pass the very strict examination by the IB world headquarters and meet the IBO standards in terms of hardware conditions, teacher quality and teaching philosophy. An IB School must be officially accredited before it can call itself an IB World School. After becoming an IB world school, the school will continue to receive IBO supervision and pass the audits every five years to maintain the qualification. Because of such strict implementation standards, IB schools worldwide are able to maintain a consistently high standard.
Our School has been authorized by the International Baccalaureate (IB) Organisation to deliver the Diploma Programme (DP).

NACIS International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP)
At NACIS Shanghai, our Pre-IB programme for Grade 10 students is a unique experience for students to completely focus on preparation for the IBDP, without the pressure of a curriculum focused on rote learning for standardized exams; instead students develop knowledge, skills and attitudes that give them a great advantage as they prepare for IBDP success.
Pre-IBDP (Grade 10) and IBDP (Grades 11 and 12) students are encouraged to be independent learners and are therefore managed by a team of IBDP teachers led by the Head of IB. The Pastoral team and Higher Education team also work closely with these students to support in their overall well-being and preparation for making the best university choices and applications.

CAS attitudes and activities are encouraged throughout the Primary and Secondary stages of learning, as one of our promises to parents and students is that we will inspire and provide opportunities for students to be socially ambitious. Therefore, activities are designed to be challenging and fun, whilst providing a personal journey of self-discovery and encouragement to consider how they can impact positively on the world around them.
As well as opportunities within the local community, our Global Campus, an online learning platform connecting all Nord Anglia Education schools, plays an important role is providing inspiration and perspective on which students can base their CAS responsibilities. To date, NACISS students have participated in a number of diverse activities supporting their progress and attainment within the IBDP programme.

CAS experiences at NACISS
• Creativity
Within our CAS programme students are currently engaged in a diverse range of creative experiences including paper quilling, ballet performances, drama, music competitions and software programming.
Our Extra Curricular Programme (ECA) for Primary and Secondary helps prepare students for the IBDP CAS Programme. It provides students with opportunities to get involved in experiences to deepen their own engagement with personal talents but also to encourage them to be brave and learn a new skill or contribute to a project that will be of benefit to themselves and others.

• Activity
For the ‘activity’ component, outside of school, students are engaged in a wide range of activities including swimming, boxing, tennis and badminton. Inside school, students are registered for and, in some cases, have established their own sports teams. Our senior boys participate in the NACIS Shanghai basketball team and our Grade 7 girls are preparing for their future CAS experiences by founding the NACIS Shanghai handball team.
Not only do these activities enhance leadership and teamwork qualities but also provide students with the opportunity to take part in physical activity. Time away from academic studies contributes to a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

• Service
In addition to school-led activities, students have the opportunity to travel to our two Nord Anglia Education dedicated centres in Switzerland and Tanzania.
They can engage in service work in Tanzania, as well as safari and culture. These activities combine students from different schools and regions.
At present, our high school is recruiting students for Grade 10 and our IB scholarship is also in the process of recruitment. The application channel is open to students entering grade 10 and 11 in 2019 and 2020.
