Is easy to explain but not easy to do! The Personal Project is not just a project, it is also an experience that MYP brings to students, allowing them to demonstrate the skills and the experience that they have been learning since Grade 6.
Students start by doing in-depth research on a topic of interest in order to learn a new skill and then present a final product showcasing their learning.
This project gives students an opportunity to develop an area of personal interest beyond the normal subjects and share this new information with teachers, friends, and family. Throughout the project, students are asked to reflect on what they learned and how they learned.
