“空中艺术节”完美收官

三（2）班蒋昕瞳《快乐的袋鼠》

“空中艺术节”世界民间艺术的最后一站，我们来到热情洋溢的大洋洲、北美洲和南美洲，在同学天马行空的作品中尽情呼吸，见证他们蓄势而发的艺术能量。

At the last stop of the Art Festival, we came to the passionate areas of Oceania, North America and South America, and appreciating the art pieces of our classmates, witnessing their accumulated “artistic energy”.

如何在艺术创作中糅合浓郁的土著风情？喝完的养乐多空瓶还可以做成图腾柱？协和学子开足脑筋，大胆创意，更别提他们将家当作舞台，吹拉弹唱轮番登场，感染了屏幕前的每一个人。

How to blend the rich indigenous style in artistic creation? Can the empty Yakult bottles be made into totem poles? SUISers had a brainstorm and even used home as a stage playing and singing, touching every audience through the screen.

“空中艺术节”虽已完美收官，但无论是线上还是线下，我们始终持之以恒地开展学习。艺术节期间，同学们点滴匠心捧出累累硕果，通过网络提交了大量居家学习的优秀作品，这也将成为我们艺术探索之路上最闪亮的一份回忆。

Although the Art Festival is coming to an end, we will continue to carry out learning constantly whether online or face-to-face. During the festival, the students showed great achievements and submitted a lot of excellent works for home-learning through the Internet. This will also become the shiniest memory in our art journey.

在线P4C，关于“学校”的有趣答案

在上一期的P4C课之后，同学们围绕着“学校”这一主题展开深入批判思考与探究，畅所欲言，带来了不少特别的想法。有人觉得“我们不同的理想决定了长大后是否需要在学校深造”，也有人提出“在学校学习就好比为高楼大厦打好地基”的新颖观点，还有人认识到“在家里学习肯定不如学校学得多”，着眼于一些无法自学完成的知识，从而感受到学校学习的重要性。

After the end of the last P4C lesson, our students carried out deep critical thinking and inquiring around the theme of "school" and brought many special ideas. Some of them think that "our different ideals determine whether we need to study in school when we grow up." Some put forward a fresh view that "learning at school is like laying a good foundation for high-rise buildings." While others believe that “home learning is certainly not as good as school learning, considering that some knowledge is hard to be mastered by self-study, thus it is important to be back to school to study further.”

正如同学们所说，在线学习隔着屏幕，面对面学习则更为直接高效。缺少了老师的现场指导和规则约束，还有同学们的交流互动和彼此启发，不少人会觉得在家学习比不上在学校学习。一封封留言传递着你们迫切想要回到校园，与同窗相伴、共同进步的心情，期待我们在美丽的协和校园早日相见！

As our students expressed, compared with remote online learning on the screen, face-to-face learning is more direct and efficient. Without the teacher's side by side guidance and instructions, as well as the interaction and inspiration with and from the classmates, many people tend to like school learning more. We’ve received your messages that shows your eagerness to return to the campus and how much you wish to learn from each other and make progress together with your classmates. We look forward to seeing you on campus as soon as possible!

“十佳美德少年”评选即将开始

美德之光，灿若星河，一年一度的协和“十佳美德少年”评选活动即将启动！接下来的时间里，老师和同学将通过线上评选的方式，来寻找身边最闪亮的美德小星星。

Our annual Virtues Representatives Election is about to start! Our teachers and students will select the brightest Star of Virtues around them through online participation. We hope that through the practice of virtues, it shines on everyone each day.
